The 2017 CEDIA Awards were held on Friday 29 September at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter to award the excellence and professionalism of CEDIA members.

The event was attended by 430 industry professionals who began the evening with a drinks reception before enjoying a tour through the renowned Harry Potter set and settling on Platform 9 ¾ for a three course dinner.

British actor, presenter and comedian Warwick Davies hosted the awards, who is known for his involvement in the Harry Potter films.

Following the EMEA awards ceremony, Warwick also presented the three Global Award winners to integrators from America and Pakistan.  The ceremony concluded with Ian Morrish, Founder of Together for Cinema being awarded the CEDIA Special Recognition Award.

“We were incredibly impressed with the standard of entries this year and thank all of those who took part in the 2017 CEDIA Awards” says CEDIA EMEA managing director Matt Nimmons.
