Panasonic to launch new laser projection line for the higher education and corporate markets
Panasonic has announced it will be unveiling its new PT-MZ670 series of installation projectors, which have been designed to meet the needs of modern classroom and meeting room environments.
The PT-MZ670 series comprises four compact 3LCD lens-interchangeable models: the PT-MZ670 (6,500 lumens ANSI) and PT-MZ570 (5,500 lumens ANSI), both with WUXGA resolution and the PT-MW630 (6,500 lumens ANSI) and PT-MW530 (5,500 lumens ANSI) with WXGA resolution.
The series is the first 3LCD range to feature Solid Shine laser technology, delivering high-contrast images in bright environments. It also offers single-cable Digital Link video/control for simpler installation and strong wireless support for fast connection and collaboration.

An optional wireless module (ET-WM300) adds a wide range of collaboration technologies, which allow users to project wirelessly from multiple devices, present without a PC, and network and stream content securely with PIN protection.
“When Panasonic developed the new range for educators we placed emphasis on excellent imaging, easy operation and low maintenance, as well as offering a choice of wired and optional wireless interfaces. With the PT-MZ570 Series, organisations can rely on their projector to work seamlessly while they focus on collaboration,” says Panasonic product marketing manager of media and entertainment Chris Maw.
The new 3LCD laser projector Series ensures crisp and vivid picture quality, combined with 3,000,000:1 dynamic contrast to display text, graphics and video images with clarity. Picture-enhancing technologies deliver images in environments ranging from bright classrooms to corporate meeting rooms with dim lighting.
