New tools and resources from Lilin
Lilin Project Planner
Lilin released a new free tool for installers called the Project Planner. This allows the installer/consultant to specify Lilin cameras into a job easily. The installer either uploads a floorplan of their project (for internal quotes) or they use the in-built Google Maps function to navigate to their job site (for external sites), and they can drag and drop Lilin’s cameras straight onto the project. It will show them viewing angle, Network video recorder load and bandwidth requirements, placement advice, and after they’re done, it will spit out an order form with all the SKUs they placed into the job.
Lilin YouTube Channel
Because it’s difficult to demonstrate concepts like camera resolution, angle of view and frame rate through words in a brochure, Lilin have a dedicated YouTube channel that has all of that and more, including how to guides wiring setups, video tutorials and latest product releases. A great tool for any integrator or security contractor.

Lilin Interoperability with Automation
Lilin recently added Crestron to their already-impressive partner list, which contains Control4, URC, KNX, Savant and RTI. Now integrators using this system will be able to use Lilin cameras in their projects with full interoperatbility.
