ENGIE Services builds AV capacity with new acquisition
ENGIE Services has announced it has strengthened its presence in the integrated AV solutions market with the acquisition of Melbourne-based IBS AV, which traded as Pro AV Solutions Victoria.
“This is an established, high-tech and innovative company that has enormous potential to grow under the ENGIE Group,” says ENGIE Services chief executive Corinne Ong.
IBS AV will be incorporated into a new division, ENGIE Services AV Technologies, which launched recently.

“AV Technologies adds a powerful digital technology capability to our business that complements our existing electrical and communications offer. With this acquisition and through our existing data and electrical business, ENGIE Services has an outstanding combination of expertise in delivering large-scale, complex systems that combine the latest professional AV and IT technologies,” says Corinne.
The acquisition will broaden ENGIE Services’ existing suite of technical services and enhance its capacity to offer multi-technical solutions to its customers.
AV Technologies managing director Ian Ward says becoming part of the ENGIE Group is exciting in terms of the opportunities that it opens up for staff, customers and suppliers.
