Convoy to distribute NAD Electronics and PSB Loudspeakers
Back in March, when distribution company Convoy International culled a large number of brands it represented in the Australian market, in particular headphone suppliers, chief executive Geoff Matthews said: “We want to focus on our traditional high-end, specialty audio business…”
Now, just four months later, the company has announced a new distribution agreement and all signs point to it making good on its word.
Canada-based Lenbrook Group, the company behind wireless multi-room and high resolution audio brand Bluesound, has recently announced that it has also appointed Convoy as the Australian distributor of PSB Speakers and NAD Electronics.

Reportedly, the decision to combine all three brands under one distributor was made to best service Lenbrook’s BluOS wireless multi-room music management interface, which will be sold under the Bluesound brand and designed to see each of its brands evolve in the hi-res audio space.
“Convoy’s recent review of its business to focus on high quality home audio makes them the ideal partner to further develop the BluOS ecosystem that can be found within NAD, PSB and Bluesound,” Lenbrook managing director Gord Simmonds says.
Geoff adds: “This suite of brands puts Convoy at the forefront of bringing in leading-edge premium solutions that set our dealers apart.
“For example, Bluesound and NAD have recently announced MQA audio file compression technology, which is now enabled in the latest BluOS upgrade.
“And as BluOS appears in future active PSB products, the advantage of using one of the most important future music delivery opportunities is already available.”
The Lenbrook brands will now join Bowers & Wilkins, Classé, JBL and Music Hall as members of the Convoy stable.
